Description

These are some easy to make, cute, denim bows which you probably already have the materials for!

Instructions

  1. Small img 0729

Roughly cut the pant leg to be double the size you want your bow.

  2. Small img 0731

Tear the edge to give the fabric a distressed look, straight edges are no fun.

  3. Small img 0732

Turn the fabric inside-out and make the ends meet.

  4. Small img 0733

Sew along this edge. I'm lazy so I used a sewing machine, but this can be easily hand sewn.

  5. Small img 0734

Turn it "outside-out" and fold the bow flat so the seam is in the center.

  6. Small img 0735

Scrunch up the middle. Hey its starting to look like a bow!

  7. Small img 0736

Again, I'm lazy, so I used a sewing machine to sew the little part in the center so that the bow keeps its shape. You can hand sew it, use fabric glue, anything your heart desires.

  8. Small img 0737

Take a strip of jean fabric (or a different fabric) that fits the bow.

  9. Small img 0738

Wrap it around and make the ends meet.

  10. Small img 0739

    Sew.

Now you have a beautiful denim bow!! You can add a simply bobby pin to the back, or a hair clip for your hair. You can also add studs or designs with sharpie!
