How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I stumbled upon CO+K while searching online for instructions on how to make paper snowflakes.
What projects are you currently working on?
The past year I have learned several book-folding techniques and this has now taken over as my latest craft addiction. It has become a profitable hobby as well.

What does your craft space look like?
I don't have a dedicated craft room. I have a small home, but anyone visiting will clearly find me crafting most anywhere -- on the kitchen counter, the dining room table, atop my ironing board, on the floor, in my backyard shed, on a foldable table in my yard, or on top of my ottoman. I have loads of craft supplies that are jam-packed inside one of those old entertainment centers and hidden inside a rolltop desk.

I usually craft in front of my TV or iPad with a movie playing in the background.

Favorite Craft
I have done a lot of crafting over the years so my "favorite thing to make" has always been whatever I was into at any given moment. I love making beautiful things out of very simple things, and I enjoy intricate details. In the past few years, I have experimented a lot using nail polish and alcohol inks to transform simple glass cabochons or floral stones into miniature works of art by painting on the back of the glass. I love making glass tile pendant jewelry also. I have also been doing a great deal of book-folding over the past year. I have also made a lot of eggshell mosaic jewelry.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I want to learn how to knit and would really like to learn how to sew more than just a straight line.

Cat! For founding and developing the CO+K site. You are not only a crafting Queen, but you help the rest of us to become one too.
Joybells's Favorite Projects
The Beautiful Paper Snowflake Project is how I discovered CO+K and is a project I have done repeatedly now in an array of different sizes, and I have also taught others. The Wire Wrapped Marble Project inspired me to try wire wrapping for the first time and also gave me a love of doing other projects with fractured marbles, including making my own designs. The Alarm Clock Buddies polymer clay project is on my favorites list purely because of its clever and whimsical simplicity. The project made me laugh the first time I saw it. One day I'm going to give this a try when I find just the right item on my bookshelf that needs to be propped up.
