i'm a maine girl, lucky to be born in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

i like to take pictures, though my camera is cheap and my eye novice.

i like to make things with my hands; lately i've made lots of breads and soups, but i've also made a quilt, afghans, stuffed rabbits and mixed-cd cases for pals.

i love streetlamps, handwriting, spiderwebs, firelight, animal bones. flowers and treebark and stitching. metal, glass, wood.

my job is website and database design. i'm not very good at it.

i'm also interested in science, psychology and poetry.

i haven't had cable in a year. you'd be surprised how much more time there is in the day.
