How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
To be honest, I just stumbled across this site by accident while I was looking for a DIY tutorial for stripey jeans, and I found a really good one on CO+K. I loved the site immediately and decided to become a member so I could post some of my future projects.
What projects are you currently working on?
Right now, I'm actually working on a - well what I call 'my nightsky dress'. First, I've been sewing a dress out of blue fabric and then I painted the upper part very dark. In the middle it goes lighter, until it fades to the original blue color. I think 'ombre' is the best word to describe it :). In the darkest part I've been painting stars and a moon, and just like the dark blue color, they also fade towards the middle of the dress. So, my original idea was to make a 'city', or at least the silhouette of a city on the downside of the dress, but I still haven't figured out how I'm going to do that... So yeah, that's what I'm currently working on. But before I finish this dress, I'll bake a unicorn cake for my friend's birthday :) What can I say, these days I've been working on a few projects at the same time...

What does your craft space look like?
-
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
-
What do you craft along to?
Usually, I listen to music while I'm making things. A few years ago my dad gave me a second hand stereo -it's a giant black thing, but I love it!- and since that day I've been using it every day. Most of the time I listen to 80's and 90's music, rock (lately I've been listening a lot to Linkin Park and Shinedown) and classic rock (Aerosmith, Slade, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, ...), movie soundtracks (Danny Elfman, ...) and other instrumental music (David Garrett, Trans Siberian Orchestra, ...).

Favorite Craft
I wouldn't say I like one craft above another, I like some variation in the things I do/make. For example, I really like to sew my own dresses, but after I made one I'm tired of sitting behind the sewing machine, so I move on to something else (like baking a wonderful cake or making earrings, ...) until I feel like sewing again :). So, I'd say I like most crafts equally, and I always like to try new craft techniques.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
Hmm... I wish I could make my own furniture! You know, furniture as in 'Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat', 'Alice in Wonderland' or 'Lazy Town'. That'd be so cool, I think. One day, I'll try to make my own furniture, I will!! ;)
Who are your crafting heroes?
Amy Lee (Evanescence), because she's so creative in so many ways. She's been making her own clothes since high school, and even now she makes designs for her own stage dresses. That's amazing, I think. (You should watch her VEVO Stylized). And Estonian singer Kerli is also one of my favourites.
