hi, I'm Claire I'm 29 and living in Leeds. I'm originally from Scotland but came down to go to uni and never got around to leaving.
I've always been crafty and have got myself an art degree but making cakes is my current craft. I've never been taught, well except for my mum teaching me how to make a sponge but i figured that I'm just making a sculpture but out of sponge and icing rather than clay.
I've been making cakes for about 4 years now, its mostly just for friends birthdays that i make them as it is a bit of a struggle fitting in the time around a full time job.
