About

I am totally in love with projects that involve giving new life to something old. I think it is so much more creative to use what you already have in a new and unusual way!

I love repurposing for three reasons:

1. It is thrifty

2. It keeps stuff out of landfills

And finally,

3. I'm actually really lazy (and not that skilled)... And repurposing often makes things way easier than starting from scratch--you often don't have to cut out a pattern or sew a hem, for example!

I tell people that laziness is the mother of invention, at least on my part!

Hey there! I went to KU for grad school after going to Baker for my undergrad... Lawrence is probably my favorite town in KS!

That's cool you lived in Lawrence, did you go to KU? Or did you grow up here?
