Hi, The middle piece of the jabot is like a long tulip shape. Around that there is a horse shoe gathered shaped with lace attached about 2cm in....that is the part that looks like a collar pattern. The collar piece of the jabot is put on last after finding the middle of both bits. Click on the picture that shows the back view of the jabot. It will come up bigger so you can see the detail. Let me know if there is anything I can help with
