How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I found out about CO+K through Threadbanger, everyone kept posting these amazing projects that they found on this site and I was adding so many of them to my favorites bar that I decided I had to join so I could save my favorites bar from being filled with projects from this site.
What projects are you currently working on?
A lot of what I am currently working on is based on my needs. I am getting ready to have a baby in two months so I have a lot of things I need to do to get ready for him. But I'm also needing new clothes. So it's a mix between making car seat covers and comfortable panties. (Yep, I went there). I feel so disjointed between the fashion side of DIY and my new found love of making baby items that I ended up starting a new blog just for baby. Today I am doing a more fashion forward, oversized cardigan. I am planning on doing a few other sweater reconstructions for fall over the next week and hopefully I'll get some use out of them as a pregnant woman (or non pregnant woman).

What does your craft space look like?
Currently my craft space is a mess. It was always a duel-purpose space that I used for crafting and writing. But now I'm in the process of moving and getting ready to have a baby so it's a complete disaster area now. I'll try to get it cleaned up a bit this weekend and take pictures though.
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
My favorite and most used item is probably my serger. I have no idea how I went for so long without one. At the same time, my serger is like my boyfriend. It makes me so happy most of the time, but it can also be the most frustrating thing in my life.
What do you craft along to?
I don't generally listen to anything when crafting. Although I do sometimes have the tv on for background noise, there isn't anything specific that get's me crafting though.

Favorite Craft
Out of all the things that I've made, I probably get the most use out of my Sailor Skirt. It's one of the most comfortable pieces I own and it works for every season. My favorite things to make are the things I make for myself. I do commission work as well, but I don't take as much joy from it as I do when I make things that I get to keep and enjoy.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I'm really jealous of the crafters who are artistic. Those who can paint and draw really well or are also great at sculpting. There are a lot of crafters on CO+K who make these amazing projects that heavily rely upon their steady hand and artistic ability, and I just don't have that.
Who are your crafting heroes?
My crafting heroes would have to be my friend Breanne, her blog is super inspiring. She does all these crazy things like making a full body caste of herself to make a fitted squirrel outfit- complete with giant squirrelly head. Or the giant bunny head she modeled after her own pet bunny.
I also really look up to Bink from Pearls and Swine. She's a UK based milliner who does amazing work. I fell in love with her work the moment I first saw it.
