Mother of a young superhero and wife to his magnificent bearded father. I’m an obsessive reader, writer, photographer, knitter, and spinner. I enjoy watching horror movies and documentaries. I drink sweet tea, and you’ll never see me turn down an M&M. Coffee is a requirement. I don’t like bees. Pluviophile. INTJ.
Knitting Background: taught myself how to knit in 2008 while I was pregnant with my son, but didn’t consider myself a Knitter until early 2012. I learned how to crochet when I was a child, taught by my mother, but as of late I’ve only managed simple crochet edgings. In 2013 I taught myself how to spin on a Woolmakers Bliss spinning wheel. It was a great little wheel and I highly recommend it. I am currently spinning on a Schacht Ladybug, and saving for an electric spinner. I am so in love with spinning wool and making yarn. I also love to quilt; I find fabric to be such a versatile medium, and I adore the sound of a busy sewing machine.
