I taught myself to sew at the tender age of 11 and through trial and error I have managed to produce some acceptable projects. At the moment I am interested in making dolls. I made rag dolls for my daughter in between making her clothes, now I make dolls for my grandaughter and was overjoyed when she asked me to make her some dresses for her holiday. I like to make Tote bags and pj cases too.
I have had a period of jewellery making but had to pack all the beads away when I got my puppies because I got fed up of trying to pick them all up every time the puppies decided it was playtime.
