How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I joined after I was out of work ill for almost two months and started filling my time with crafting! I was looking for a tutorial and stumbled upon this site.

What projects are you currently working on?

Decorating my new house, finishing a badass craft/art table made from an old baby crib, and stocking up on plantable seed paper note cards for a craft show I am doing in two weeks!

What does your craft space look like?

We just bought our first home, so it's a bit of a disaster at the moment! It is a basement room with two huge old kitchen tables and a lots of boxes, but I'm hoping it will be an amazing space soon.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

I go through E6000 adhesive like it's my job.

What do you craft along to?

Lately I just put Pandora on quick mix, although it apparently thinks I'm a twenty year old hipster barista! :) It plays a lot of Deathcab, Florence and the Machine, The Shins, etc.

Favorite Craft

I love all types of crafting, but paper is my passion. I design wedding invitations and stationary as a part time job now that I have my own etsy shop. When I actually have time to create something for myself (which hardly ever happens with a small business and a small boy running around the house!) I love altered art. Something about tearing up old letters and book pages and funking them up with ink and glitter really appeals to me:)

Joanna's Top Crafts

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

God I really wish I could sew! My mother is an incredible seamstress who made my wedding dress and used to design gowns for ballroom dance competitions. It's pretty pathetic that I can barely sew a straight line!

Who are your crafting heroes?

My mother, Todd Oldham (yes he is also a fashion designer, but he's a big crafter who once did me a huge favor! It's a great story!) and Leah Kramer.
