How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I found cut out + keep on a search engine when I was looking for a new craft project. I joined because there was so much inspiration from all the talented members

What projects are you currently working on?

Mostly needle felted animals but I'm also making some jewellery and I have just discovered mini Hama beads so I am having fun exploring what I can make with those

What does your craft space look like?

My craft space is pretty much the sofa in our living room. I live in a small Victorian terraced house with my parents, my sister and our 18 pets so there isn't much room. I keep most of my craft supplies organised in boxes behind my bedroom door. We also have a cupboard on the landing which has been used for fabric and wool for as long as I can remember.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

At the moment I use rovings and felting needles most as I sometimes make needle felted miniatures of people's pets for them. Most often I make guinea pigs but I've also done dogs, cat, rabbits, turtles and a parrot.

What do you craft along to?

Usually I listen to music. I often have rock music on. I also like to watch daytime quiz shows. At the moment I am listening to a lot of Panic at the disco and Shinedown.

Favorite Craft

I like to do almost all crafts although I would have to say sewing is my favourite. I like to make my own clothes so I can have something unique and something that fits as I am a larger girl and a bit out of proportion. There are so many lovely fabrics to choose from and I can make hair bands and other accessories to match.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I would like to learn lace making. I have some kits but I think it's the sort of thing you really need to be taught and I have a very short attention span for practising things

Who are your crafting heroes?

Currently I have to say all the residents of the shed from Celestine and the Hare. They are super cute needle felted creatures and there are even some books about them. The woman behind them is a very talented needle felter and I aspire to be as good as she is.
