How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I found the page while searching for a pattern and I loved the way in which projects are organized by difficulty, length, cost etc. I decided I should join right away and start contributing to the site because of its unique format.

What projects are you currently working on?

I have Through the woods hooded cowl on my needles and a Stan (from South Park) amigurumi on my hook. I’m also expanding my polymer clay stitch marker collection with lots of clay food charms.

What does your craft space look like?

I live in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment with my hubby and my craft space is in our bedroom. (see pic). I have an old metal and wood desk which I adore, lots of storage containers of all sizes for notions and needles and some shelves (not pictured) to keep my yarn in order.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

Yarn yarn yarn followed by my 5 mm 16 inch circular needle.

What do you craft along to?

I love crafting to cooking shows (The mind of a chef, Martha Bakes, John Besh’s New Orleans and others), Frontline, Nature, Adventure Time, Game of thrones and The Walking Dead. When I’m on the move I usually listen to This American Life or StarTalk Radio.

Favorite Craft

Hard question! My first craft love was crochet but I have since started knitting, sewing and playing with polymer clay. I’m even taking a glass blowing class at the moment. My ultimate favorite craft is hat knitting. I love circular needles and I can’t get enough of them. If there are cables involved you can be sure I will knit like a maniac from start to finish.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I would love to make a fabulous Star Wars double knit scarf for my uncle. I found the pattern randomly and fell in love, but I have yet to learn double knitting!

Who are your crafting heroes?

Stephen West and Tin Can Knits come to mind, but the list is long.
