How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I actually don't remember how I found CO+K, because it was approximately 5 years ago when I stumbled upon it. But...when I found it, I fell in LOVE! There were so many cute and great ideas, and I loved how the site worked and the interaction with the other members (there's lots of cool peeps). Everything was easy to find and visually appealing.

What projects are you currently working on?

Currently, I'm working on felt and paper crafts to sell at my work craft fair which include: "Bumble" cards and ornaments, Giant Pixy Stix Lollys, mini candy boxes and some packaged candy and snack items like "Man Candy" and "Dude Food", which I will post on CO+K soon. I'm also working on signs and decorations for our family Ugly Sweater Christmas Party.

What does your craft space look like?

Right now, my craft space is my dining area and includes scattered scrapbook paper and felt; and cups of markers, paintbrushes, scissors and glue.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

Scissors or paintbrush.

What do you craft along to?

Lately, I've been hearing my boyfriend play "Call of Duty" in the background. Otherwise, I would probably be listening to the 80's or 90's alternative music channel on my TV.

Favorite Craft

I love to paint or do felt crafts...plushies, ornaments, coffee cozies. The most fun is making unique gifts for my friends. I also enjoy putting together custom gift baskets.

Debi's Top Crafts

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

Knit or crochet. I would love to be able to make sweaters, beanie hats, stuffed animals and those cute Twinkie Chan scarves.

Who are your crafting heroes?

Tarina Tarantino, Jenny Hart of "Sublime Stitching", Emily Winfield Martin "The Black Apple" and good old Martha Stewart to name a few.
