All my life I have been creatively minded and experimented with many mediums, constantly making something out of little, but eventually all roads lead me back to fabric!
In 2007 I entered a local contest based on the popular series “Project Runway”where I competed against 5 other artists each week to design and sew a challenge. Winning this contest helped me launch my line “Jax” which is sold on my website: Jaxonsjazz.etsy.com and a few local stores. I have a small business in Missoula, MT and hand make hats from "preloved" sweaters. These are each individually made by upcycling old sweaters and becoming lovely new hats.
