I am a stay at home mom and housewife. I finally reconciled that I actually LIKE being a stay at home mom and do not want nor need a career outside the home to be me. Whew, what a relief, now I can actually enjoy doing my creative little things without guilt!(grin)
I am currently obsessed with Amigurumi, and am trying to learn that. When I actually get a project finished, I will post it. I am currently making a tutu for teenage daughter as a present. I love being creative in all kinds of forms, whatever strikes my fancy at the moment is what I do. I grew up with a creative family and we were always making something. Things I have done, and still try to find time to do are quilting, sewing, crocheting, altered books, drawing, desktop publishing.

I am no longer homeschyooling my children as we have just recently moved over the summer back to my hometown area, and are living in the smallest mountain community of 3500. It turns out it is a really really in depth artisan community and everyone does some sort of artwork or creative endeavors. The schools are amazing and the kids are really happy. So guess what??? This leaves me more time for crafting!!!!!!! There is even an Art Cruise every month in the town for all of the local artists to participate in, and all the stores dowtown host them! I love it.
I joined a couple of swap groups and have recently discovered the wonders of ATCs..Artist trading Cards. Wow!!! I am sooo in love!! I still haven't mastered any amigurumi, but it is still at the top of my list.
