About

I love to make things! I love doing everything so learn as much as I can. Working with different materials provides an avenue for me to play with every element of design to stretch my concepts of what goes with what and how so that the world is never a constant; never the same as it was a minute ago. I like that new way of seeing. It's both surprising, delightful and world expanding.

I teach others how to make stuff all over the U.S. and in a variety of places in the Seattle area and soon overseas, too. I teach programs on working with polymer clay, metal clay, fabric, fibers, paper arts, paints, silk screen printing, metal etching, wire, beads, glass fusing, resins, bookbinding, kumihimo, weaving, making jewelry and a ton more.

I get to mentor others by teaching which is always amazing. You can read an article I wrote in the December issue of Jewelry Artist magazine or see a brief clip of an interview I did for Indie Arts DVD magazine (Issue #8) online at www.indieartsdvd.com on the Previews page (it's also on YouTube, just put my name into the Search box). Or see my interview for PBS Create! 'Beads, Baubles and Jewels', episode #906, airing soon!
