What are your hobbies?
I describe in my bio that I have "flighty fingers" - I love so many different things that I am constantly moving from one thing to the next. I do love Mexican folk art, there's so much soul in it. I loathe thinking about the process, but I love painting furniture - it's unbelievable what you can do with liquid color! I am a total nerd, I like taking classes and doing research!
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I L.O.V.E. etching jewelry, the process still amazes me! In general I just like making things, it doesn't truly matter what it is (as long as it's pretty) I need to keep my hands and mind busy all the time. Um what does my craft space look like? It's truly a scary place - it's not a place to glean any inspiration, but it's a workhorse of a room!
What do you craft along to?
During the day I like to listen to La Belle Musique on YouTube, I get to hear a lot of fun music that I would otherwise never be exposed to. At the end of the day I just love having The Danny Thomas Show playing in the background - the banter between Danny and the son Rusty totally cracks me up.
What was the first project you ever made?
Haha yes! I was about 4 and I didn't have pierced ears at the time - I had dreamed of having them pierced, but it wasn't an option so I made an alternative: "ear bracelets". Basically they were bracelets that you hung on the top of your ears with beads that sat near your earlobe. I thought it was quite clever!
What are your favorite items to make?
Jewelry! I don't ever feature tutorials on jewelry making, but I love making it. Wire earrings and etched cuff bracelets are what I truly love...I am playing around with "spoon" jewelry right now.
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
Craftberry Bush and Lovely Indeed! Both blogs are completely different from each other, but they both offer the best of both worlds!
