The first thing I ever sewed was a pincushion for my mom. It was supposed to be a heart but ended up a kidney bean.

Crafting and making things with my hands has always been a huge part of my life thanks to my extremely creative mother. I learned to sew when I was 12 and became obsessed. As I got older and busier with high school then college, I started making things less and less. In the past year I decided to put my social work degree on hold and get back into creating things. I started my blog and a handmade business. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
