When did you first start knitting / crocheting and where did you learn?
I started crocheting in 2009 and knitting in 2010. I taught myself everything I know by watching YouTube videos and reading crochet books.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
I made an ugly little hat for my daughter and I didn't know anything about sizing so it didn't even fit. It fell apart a few days afterwards because I didn't know how to weave in the ends either. =)
Who are your favourite pattern designers and celebrity knitters & crocheters?
I have so many crocheters that I look up to. I would definitely say that Vickie Howell. I watched her on tv a lot when I was just starting out.
What are your favourite things to stitch and do you have a favorite item you've made?
I like making baby blankets the best. I think I like them so much because I know that they are going to be snuggling an adorable little person. My favorite blanket that I've made so far is my Shell Stitch Baby Blanket that I made for a cousin of mine.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to stitch along to?
I love to watch tv and crochet/knit at the same time. I usually crochet while watching cooking shows. My husband thinks I'm weird for being able to multitask but I can't help it! I like to crochet and learn to make cool new dishes at the same time :)
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
If I ever had an ounce of free time, you would find me reading or drawing. I like to do both but haven't done either in a long while.
