Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?

We build a lot of furniture. Like A LOT. Seriously, the majority of our furniture and decor is stuff we've made and we love that. And to be honest, if we don't like it, we get rid of it and build something to take it's place. But,, as much as we love our home and the stuff we've built or bought, it is still exactly that, just stuff. It's WHO's inside the home that is my favorite part. It's my beautiful wife, amazing 2 yr old daughter and the coolest little 4 yr old boy you've ever met that I look forward to coming home to every day.

What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?

The first thing I made for my house was a coffee table. It was a piece of junk but it stuck around for a long time and served it's purpose well. Let's just say I've come a long way.

Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?

Have kids. Because they are the most tidy little people ever. NOT! lol! It can be tough with little ones running around but we just make sure to stay on top of it. Everything has it's place and everything goes back when it's done being used. Also, get rid of stuff. If you don't use something, sell it, give it away or donate it.

If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?

Tough. I think it would be a tie between Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerburg. I'm sure they have all the coolest gadgets.

If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?

We've always wanted a pool and outdoor kitchen area so that would be #1 for sure. Then I think I would want a smart home because I'm a nerd. Finally, a gym, because I like working out but hate working out in front of people at the gym.

Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?

I don't really do any other crafts but when I'm not building stuff or spending time with my family I really enjoy doing stuff outdoors. Hiking, surfing, paddleboarding, golf, anything active and outdoors usually makes me happy.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

While some of the stuff that I build can look overwhelming or intimidating to some. I urge people to try because with a good plan it can lead to better projects, less errors, and shorter work times. You'd be surprised how easy it is to build your own furniture. If you can put together a piece of IKEA furniture and know how to operate a saw and drill then you can do it.
