When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
I have been sewing my own clothes since my early teens. It was only when I had kids that I switched to sewing for them. Now that they are grown I have the time to explore making things for myself again!
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
I don't have a favourite. I pin fashions from all the designers - just to give myself some inspiration or even ideas to copy. I have even started "DESIGNIN' DECEMBER" #designindecember to inspire others to make their own designer garments by copying something they like and want - Why buy? When you can make it yourself?
What are your ultimate style tips?
I love sticking to my colours. i like to try all sorts of garment styles and pieces but I do try to stick to my colours so that I can mix and match endlessly.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
I don't pay much attention to what celebrities wear. I watch the designers & celebrities long enough to grab a few ideas for myself and then I continue from there with my own creations.
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
I hardly read fashion blogs. I always read sewing blogs.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Sewing is my hobby but I walk, hike and jog for a change of pace and exercise.
