When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
I had a babysitter when I was young that was crazy crafty - gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking, baking - she did it all. She would let me play on her sewing machine and I think doll clothes were the first thing I made.
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
I have an old soul, so Kate Hepburn has always been a style icon of mine. As for designers, I try to keep it local to Seattle with brands like Lu and Prairie Underground.
What are your ultimate style tips?
You do you. If you aren't rocking clothes you truly love, it will show. Also, quality over quantity.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
The wedding dress Audrey Hepburn wore in Funny Face. It is such a timeless and charming piece!
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
I love The House that Lars Built. It isn't an all fashion blog, but her style jives with my aesthetic.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I dabble in ALL the crafts. Leather work, wood burning, embroidery, baking, sewing, fiber arts - I love it all!
Outside crafting, I love to workout. Well, let me clarify... I workout so I don't yell at my children too often and I love that part.
