What are your hobbies?

I ran my first marathon a few years ago, but most of my exercise today comes from walking my pug Hadji. I'm also a member of a book club as well as a craft club.

What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?

Sewing is my first passion, but I also love designing, especially embroidery designs. I enjoy a wide range of crafts, from Ukrainian egg designing to drawing to clothes making. I recently downsized to a small urban condo, so I no longer have a sewing room. My craft space now is everywhere; there are works in progress in nearly every corner of my condo!

What do you craft along to?

I follow quite a few DIY blogs, but I especially find inspiration from my favorite magazine - Marie Claire Idees. Good thing my husband speaks French, so he can translate when needed!
I usually have the news on when I'm crafting.

What was the first project you ever made?

Home decor for my Barbies. Before they moved up to Mattel's penthouse, they lived in a corner of my bedroom with handmade sofas, pillow cushions and little Bohemian quilts.

What are your favorite items to make?

I love to upcycle unusual items into funky art projects. I recently made a hanging light pendant from human x-rays!

Which other craft blogs do you love to read?

There are so many cool blogs out there, but I especially enjoy Pillar Box Blue, A Beautiful Mess, and anything Anthropologie and Apartment Therapy!
