How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
In terms of make-up, my style is definitely based on my mood that day! Sometimes I wake up feeling super inspired and fierce, and end up rocking a blue lip with a dramatic winged liner. Other days I feel more girly and go with something more subtle and luminous. Overall, if I had to describe my preferred style, it would be "clean cut" and very precise! I love a sharp winged liner and a super defined contour! My #1 style icon in terms of make-up is Jaclyn Hill! She slays the make-up world! I also love Kim Kardashian's make-up, as well as Demi Lovato! Their make-up artists' definitely know what they're doing!
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
You can always find a liquid eyeliner in my everyday make-up bag! I can't leave the house without my winged liner. I always like to carry around a light pink or nude lipstick...one that I can apply without a mirror when I'm on the go and don't have time for a precise application. You also can never go wrong with some glow! Highlighting has been my favorite step in my makeup routine lately. My favorite ones at the moment are by BECCA Cosmetics.
What is your beauty routine like?
My beauty routine is definitely long, but all of my steps are essential... (says every make-up addict in the world) haha! I always start by washing and toning my skin, then following that with a moisturizer and a primer. This is essential before starting your makeup everyday! I also always make sure to set my makeup with a finishing mist or makeup setting spray! This is going to keep your make-up looking fresh and staying in tact all day long so your masterpiece isn't melting off 2 hours later!
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
If I could makeover a celebrity, it would be Taylor Swift. Taylor always seems to rock the same look! She loves her neutral shades on the eyes, porcelain looking skin and red lips (which she totally rocks, by the way.) But, if could make her over, I'd use some warm tones like coppers and red tone browns to really make her beautiful blue eyes pop! I'd also experiment with different lip colors on her and take advantage of her full lips! Lastly, I'd bronze her up! I'd love to see Taylor rock a sun-kissed look to her skin with a little bit of a contour. She would look stunning!
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
If you want to mix up your look, I say go for it. My number one piece of advice is that makeup is not permanent... it washes right off! Makeup is suppose to be fun!! Never feel embarrassed or ashamed to rock a look that you want to rock just because others might not like it! If you're scared, start off with one minor change at a time! Add a bold color to your lash line one day and see how you feel. The next day, experiment with lip colors! If you're use to wearing a very light nude, try a deep nude. If you are use to wearing a baby pink, try a hot pink! Makeup is a form of expression! Just experiment and have fun :)
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Make-up is definitely my number one favorite thing to do! I love crafts in general, I just don't have the time for it anymore which sucks! Anything artsy, count me in!! I love editing my YouTube videos in my spare time. I also love music! Is shopping a hobby? If so, that's definitely my #1!
