Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
Our house is a beautiful Victorian terrace with oodles of character. And that's what drew me to the house when we bought it. The high ceilings and original cornicing are everything (and more) I ever dreamed of. It needs a lot of TLC, but it's got bags of potential!
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
One of the first projects was a raised bed for the garden. It's made from decking boards and is now home to a lovely rose bush and honeysuckle climber.
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
I'm probably not the most organised personally, so my only tip is to have a decent planner! I have weekly memo board which I use to write down all my weekly goals. Admittedly, I often don't get through them - but it does help me stay somewhat on track!
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
Lisa Vanderpump from the Real Housewives. Her house is pretty much the only reasons I watch that show, ha! Her "garden" (if we can even call it that!) is literally the dream.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
1. I would love to have a dormer in our attic room. All our neighbours have one, but sadly ours has been removed. I'm not sure we'll be able to put it back, being so expensive - so that would definitely be a wish!
2. Secondly, a bigger garden. Somewhere to build a treehouse would be amazing!
3. And thirdly, I'd have somewhere to park the car. We only have on-street parking, which is kind of annoying when someone pinches your fave spot.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I don't at the moment. I'd love to get into knitting though - I think it would be really handy for winter! And I'd also like to get better at woodworking too, then I could build all my own funiture ;)
