Have you always been creative and what’s the earliest work you can remember creating?

Yes! I think I was about 6 and we had to create a class poster.I jumped right in and volunteered.Of course, I had lots of help from my Mom.Clearly she encouraged me a lot and I owe it all to her for keeping my creativity alive.

What's your studio like and how do you keep organised?

We have a furnished apartment and cannot shift things out. So,I converted one part of one bedroom into a small L-shaped workspace. Here I have my worktable and computer table. All my stuff is either in drawers or in small cardboard boxes under the table.

Where do you look for inspiration?

All around me! Every little thing is filled with inspiration. But my biggest has to be nature .Leaves, flowers, insects and what not! I also look up Pinterest or Flickr for ideas.Doha is a desert turned city, so it's not a lot that I get to see different flora and fauna.

Whats in your pencil case / camera bag?

Top drawer of my desk has 1.Packaging supplies 2.Some watercolor tunes 3.A set of pencils 4.Ribbos 5.A screwdriver 6.Stapler 7.Bills

Any tips for someone suffering from creative block?

Take a break! Put your pencils/paints away and relax. Go out for a walk keeping your phone at home and look all around you. Take a workshop or a class that you've always wanted to.

Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?

I love photography. I'm trying to improve my skills in that area. I've recently started calligraphy, so that's a fun hobby now.
