When did you first start crafting and how did you learn?
I have always liked drawing, coloring, making cards and scrapbooks. In my twenties I got seriously ill, and started crafting a lot. I`m self taught but like watching or reading tutorials to learn new techniques. Try and fail and try again,- that`s how I learn.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
Not specific. But I have made a lot of "fantastic" artwork for my parents over the years..:)
Where do you look for inspiration?
When working on a project and in need for some instant inspiration I use Pinterest and Google. But I also get inspired by street art, random art work, drawing tutorials, TV, cartoons, by colorful things and cool design, both vintage and new stuff. I get inspired very much so by animals, both real ones and illustrated.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
My craft space, or nook as I like to call it, is in the one end of our living room. The nook is mine alone, though our cat likes to sleep on my desk (when it`s room). It has a white base but it`s filled with colorful bits and pieces.
I keep organized by tidying often, and not buying too much new stuff. I have mostly open shelving, so for me it`s important to place the things I use the most in handy. I also like having my stash in boxes and containers labeled with dymo tape. Labeled, and sorted makes me happy :) The stuff I use the most, like markers, adhesive, papers and scissors, are always available in open containers.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
British crime series, and TV shows like CSI and Law and order,- Crime mostly. I love crime and horror!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I like DIY and interior. I like to work out and used to play soccer. I love good food and drinks, both consuming and making. I also like photography, all kind of animals and travelling.
