When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?

I've been into cooking for as long as I can remember. Whenever my mom was in the kitchen I was on a chair next to her until I could actually see over the counter. The first recipe I made on my own was Fettuccine Alfredo.

What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?

I currently have a relatively small apartment kitchen. I stay organized while cooking by prepping as much as I can in advance and cleaning up as I go.

What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?

Don't take cooking too seriously - it's just food! Also, don't be afraid to make mistakes. Chances are even if it doesn't come out as you expected, it will still taste just fine. And, if it doesn't, you can always order a pizza!

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?

I would invite Bobby Flay. He seems so down to earth and I love all of his recipes! I would make a bunch of different dishes on the grill!

Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?

I love DIY projects and gardening. My other hobbies include reading, shopping, and spending time with my family.

Which cooking blogs do you love to read?

There are so many! My top three favorites are Pinch of Yum, Sally's Baking Addiction, and Inspiralized.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Thank you so much for choosing to feature me and my blog! In addition to my Facebook and Twitter accounts, you can find me on Instagram: @keri_fashionablefoods
