When did you first start crafting and how did you learn?
I've always crafted. I started in earnest when my daughter, Lauren, left home for college. I had a bad case of empty nest syndrome and had to fill up my time somehow!
Can you remember the first thing you made?
I remember making some wire and fabric flowers when I was little. I made a lot of party decorations when Lauren was little and then when she left home I made a mini album about her.
Where do you look for inspiration?
Vintage and modern graphics
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
My craft space is a horrifying mess right now! I get so busy filling orders and getting ready for my semi-annual show and sales that I just seem to make a mess and don't have time to clean it up. That is a goal of mine for this year: get my craft room organized!!
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
I have Queen, Eagles, lots of 80s music, Little Big Town, Patsy Cline.... on my old ipod, that I pop into a speaker system.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I do some sewing, but don't seem to have time for that lately. I not only love to read, but HAVE to read. I read during breakfast, often at work during lunch, and before I go to sleep. Right now, a guilt pleasure is zombie stories. My husband and I love to go to antique shows.
