When did you first start making jewelry and how did you learn?
When I was about 13 my cousin gave me a jar filled with bright blue beads, headpins and clasps. I taught myself by trial and error to start with. There was another girl at my school as well who made jewellery so we used to trade tips.
Can you remember the first piece you made?
A pair of silver earrings with stars and little blue beads hanging on the end of long eye pins.
Where do you look for inspiration?
Everywhere. I read fashion magazines to see what is trending, search Pinterest and whenever I talk to people I am always checking out what jewellery they are wearing!
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
It swings between super tidy and all out chaos. I have a set of little drawers with my beads arranged by colour and findings by metal.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
I usually put my iPod on shuffle or radio 6music.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I want to try as many crafts as possible. I like papercrafts and recently went on a bookbinding course. I knit and I am learning to sew on a 1950's sewing machine that was given to me. I also have a couple of sketchbooks on the go as well as I am trying to practice my drawing skills.
