How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
I get told a lot I am vintage pinup style. I love everything about the look of 1920s with the hair and the makeup. I tend to do a lot of wingliner and vampy lips with a headband (my normal go to look). I look up to Marilyn Monroe; she was the icon of beauty.
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
LOL Waaaaaay too much. I can not pack just one thing so I carry like 3 different of everything. If I was going on a trip, I guess I would pack my Cover FX Custom Cover Drops, Makeup Geek palette, Stila Liquid Liner, Luxie Beauty lashes, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, Anastia Beverly Hills Heathers lipstick, Benefit Hoola and The Balm Mary-Lou.
What is your beauty routine like?
I wake up and exfoliate with PhilosophyMicrodelivery, moisturize with Fresh Black Tea Lotion, add my primer which right now I am using Nivea Men Post Shave Balm Sensitive (it works to control oil), apply my foundation and all the rest of the face, do my brows and then the eye makeup. I remove all my makeup with the all time best makeup remover, Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser (the orange one).
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
Emma Stone. I wouldn't change anything about her, but she is stunning so I just want to do her makeup. I would do light smokey eye with a soft coral lipgloss just to pick up the pinks in her skintone.
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
I say experiment with EVERYTHING. Do not be afraid to try or fail at doing it. It takes practice to get it and somethings you think you can not pull off will be the one thing everyone says looks great on you. I didn't wear lipstick for the longest time and I would not wear dark colors if I did. I one day tried on a dark color and now that is my signature look.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love crafts! I do everything except sewing. I love scrapbookng, knitting, crochet, painting, baking and decorating etc... Most people don't know I actually worked in a bakery and I did cake decorating. I would say the thing I do the most is probably baking/decorating and haircolor since I am licensed :)
