Step 1Cut out all the pattern pieces, placing the head on the fold as shown on the pattern.

Step 2Stitch on the eyes, layering with the white first, followed by the black and finishing with the green eyelids.
Stitch on a mouth with the black embroidery floss.

Step 3Fold the ears according to the pattern. Add a few stitches so they stay folded.
Turn both upper edges of the bag to the inside 1" and stitch.

Step 4Open the bag so the inside is facing up. Pin the ribbon near the edge on each side, extending 3" down into the bag. Place the ears on top of the ribbon, as indicated on the pattern.

Step 5Fold the front over the top and stitch down both sides of the head, 3/8" away from the edge and again 1/8" from the edge.
