Yarnstorm / Yarnbomb Day Of The Dead Wedding Cake

When @ladycassandra84 's wedding cake turned out to be a cake wreak we knocked up this yarnstormed wedding cake. The cake itself was loving made by her now husband using whatever pots were in the house. The cake was then iced by me using royal icing.

I had made the skeleton bride and groom for the happy couple as a gift as the bride was born on Halloween. We had also planned to have crochet flowers and butterfly's at the wedding and the felt flower featured was made by Cassandra for her button holes.

The flowers are pinned up the cake, the toppers put on the top tier and the butterfly is attached using wire to make it look like it in flying.
