Update an old lamp with yarn
Have an outdated lamp that's in good shape otherwise? Give it a coat of paint and then wrap it with some thick, cozy yarn.

You Will Need

Step 1Paint and outdated lamp base and then start by gluing a vertical piece of yarn at the bottom of the lamp base.

Step 2Apply an inch of glue at a time and then begin to wrap the yarn around the lamp base horizontally, making sure not to pull the yarn taut.

Step 3Continue adding glue and wrapping all the way up the lamp base, tie off and glue at the end.
