Wraparound Skirt

Charlene, I'm not sure if my reply directly to your comment went through (I don't see it), so I'm replying here too. Honestly, since this is a double wraparound skirt, it's not very easy to put on, so you'd probably be better off making her a more simple wrap skirt. As for the math, half of 55 is 27.5, so that's your "a" measurement.

This is a lil out of my depth. My 85 year Old mom is in a nursing home. Wheelchair all the time. So, I am thinking a wrap skirt would be perfect for her birthday. If you could help me with the math...
Her waisy is 55 inches, her hip between 65 and 70 inches. I'm thinking 24 inches after heming.
