Woven Flower Earrings

Using approximately 1m of beading thread, add a beading needle to each end. Thread on 6 x 11/0 seed beads and position at the centre of the beading thread. Thread back into the first seed bead added to create a loop of 6 seed beads (a).
Onto the right side needle, add 1 x 4mm crystal round, 1 x seed bead, 1 x fire polish bead and 1 x seed bead. To the left side needle add 1 x 4mm crystal round (b).
Pass the right side needle into the 4mm crystal bead on the left side to close these beads into a loop (c). Here the threads have crossed over inside the 4mm crystal. With the left side thread, continue to pass into the next seed bead in the existing loop (d).
To the right side thread (exiting the 4mm crystal bead) add 1 x seed bead, 1 x fire polish bead and 1 x seed bead. To the left side thread (exiting the seed bead) add 1 x 4mm crystal bead (e). Pass the right side needle into the 4mm crystal bead and 11/0 seed bead (as step 3) (f).
Repeat step 4 another 3 times.
Close the final set of beads by adding 1 x seed bead and 1 x fire polish bead to the right side thread and 1 x seed bead to the left side thread. Pass the threads through the final fire polish bead in opposite directions (g).
Strengthen the shape by threading back into the beads, following the pattern. Positon the threads so that they both exit opposite fire polish beads (h).
Thread a crystal drop onto a headpin and using pilers make a loop in the wire (i) as if making an earring.
To one end of the threads add 3 x seed beads, a crystal drop and 3 x seed beads. Thread back into the beadwork to tighten (J). Repeat this step to add an earwire at the opposite side (k). Thread the tail ends into the beadwork, add a few knots to secure and trim.
