so here i experimented with using wool when making friendship bracelets, all three are the very simple arrow head design. However the rainbow one was made thicker by using four lengths of string for one knot. the plain pink one exactly the same as when embroidary thread is used. last of all the wool and string one the same measurements as normal, used a block like colour scheme.
