The time is around 5 hours, as the paint and varnish take about 1 hour each to dry, so depending how many coats of each you want, add an hour. You can come up with so many variations on a project like this, turn it sideways, different colours, images on the plaque. Paint your own images on. I glued the wall hook on the back, to make it extra secure.
