To go with my Copycat hat I've decided to make a matching cowl that folds around the neck and flares out around the shoulders
You will need :
n°7 circular needles
Approximately 300m of yarn to be knitted with n°7 needles
A yarn needle
Gauge :
a 10cm square in stockinette stitch 12stitches X 19rows

You Will Need

Step 1
Cast on 96 stitches on n°7 circular needles and join for working in the round.

Step 2
Work in 2X2 ribbing (knit 2 to start) for about 50 rows.

Step 3
Next row : *knit 1, yarnover, knit 1, purl 2*, repeat from *to* till the end of the row.

Step 4
Continue working in 3X2 ribbing for about 20 rows.

Step 5
Bind off loosely in ribbing pattern.
