Steps (15 steps, 240 minutes)

  1. 1

Start by making the two bases for the wine bags. For one version, use paper with a print on and for the other, plain black paper. Cut the sheets to 30 x 30cm then score the paper at 8cm and 22cm. Rotate the paper a quarter turn and score 8cm from the bottom.

  2. 2

Fold the paper along the 8cm and 22cm lines and stick down to form a sleeve. Next, fold the bottom part up over the fold line.

  3. 3

Press the corners so that they meet in the middle. Press flat and fold the flaps as shown in the photo. This needs to be precise, so that the fold lines are straight.

  4. 4

Now fold the tips towards one another. This will determine the size of the base of the bag. Stick the bottom down securely.

  5. 5

Continue with the top section. Cut a piece of black paper to 30 x 30cm and score at 8.1cm and 21.9cm. Rotate the paper a quarter turn and score 10cm from the top. Next, cut the left- and right upper corners off to create an upside down T-shape.

  6. 6

Now score the top part of the upside down T every centimetre and fold in a concertina.

  7. 7

Glue down the folds on one side to create an angled fan. Fold the other flaps inward and stick down.

  8. 8

Make a label to decorate the bag with. To do this, cut two pieces of paper measuring 6.3 x 10cm and 7.6 x 14cm respectively. Use the Stamp Easy to stamp ‘Thank you’ onto the label.

  9. 9

Stick the labels to the top of the base of the wine bag. To complete the bag, slide the black top part into the base.

  10. 10

Determine the height of the black base and cut to size. In this example, 10cm was cut off.

  11. 11

Now we make the top part. Take a piece of printed paper, cut to 30cm x 30cm and score at 8.1cm and 21.9cm. Fold the paper inwards and stick down to create a sleeve.

  12. 12

Cut a 5cm-incision into the front, at the top and in the centre, and fold outwards to create triangular flaps, like the collar on a shirt.

  13. 13

Use 3 different types of paper in 3 different lengths to create labels with the Paperfuel label punch.

  14. 14

Use the Stamp Easy to stamp ‘You Rock’ onto one of the labels. Join the labels together using a piece of baker's twine.

  15. 15

Stick the twine to the inside of the collar then glue the top shut. Lastly, slide the base and top section into one another to create a bag.
