Cut sections of scrap wood into shelves to hold wine bottles. 2x6" scrap pieces are used in the example.
Place a wine bottle on a shelf piece to measure how far out the drawer handles should be installed. Mark drill holes and install securely.
Screw shelves together and sand smooth. Options + ideas Leave the wood raw for a rustic look, or use a wood stain to match any decor. Install the finished wine rack on a wall with hanging wire, or place on a tabletop by making the bottom shelf flush with the base.
