You Will Need (8 things)

  • Cork Board
  • Burlap
  • Decoupage Medium
  • Paint Brush
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun And Sticks
  • Whole Coffee Beans
  • Thumb Tacks

Steps (13 steps, 150 minutes)

    Up-cycle a simple cork board using a burlap coffee sack.Perfect for the latte' lover and the cappuccino crowd!

    materials used...cork board this one is 24x 36 and a coffee bean bag.

  3. 3

    ...scissors,hot glue (and approx. 6 hot glue sticks, decoupage medium,paintbrush and about 6 oz. of whole coffee beans,thumbtacks

    measure and cut your bag to fit to the inside of your frame...leave a bit of an overhang to trim later.

    spread decoupage medium generously across the entire surface of the cork.

  6. 6

    place cut burlap onto board

  7. 7

    press firmly and 'smooth' to edges...continue to make sure the sack is free from wrinkles and folds and is securely glued down.

    trim to inner edges of frame.

  9. 9

    re-glue around edges as needed.

    hot glue beans to frame..get a crafty little helper if possible!

    finish gluing beans...

  12. 12

    make some coffee bean thumb tacks with hot glue and a few beans.

    Now sit back and have a cup of coffee and enjoy!
