Here's my quick shabby chic painted furniture look using one coat of paint and a cloth.

Instructions

1. 

   Here's an old picture frame with intricate detail.

2. 

   Paint over it with one coat of chalk paint.

3. 

   Leave to dry for 10 minutes, then go over it everywhere with an old lint free rag to remove the excess and leave to dry full before varnishing and clear waxing.
