This pattern uses my Wheels within Wheels blocks to make a bag but they could also be used to crochet blankets. The finished bag is lined with fabric and has colourful striped handles. Any smooth yarn could be used, just vary the number of blocks to make the bag the size you want. The same wheels feature in my Wheels pincushion pattern.
