Welcome To Miami Makeup

About

Turquoise and pink always remind me of Miami. Granted, as of yet, I have never actu- ally been to Miami, so this observation is based entirely off my extensive viewing of The Golden Girls. Now, I don’t think Sophia, Rose, Blanche, or Dorothy would be galli- vanting about town in this makeup, but who knows really; there is an older woman who lives on my block who wears orange false eye- lashes every day, so anything is possible. Either way, don’t let that stop you from owning the night in this South Beach–inspired look.

Steps (7 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Apply black gel liner with a small angled brush.

  2. 2

Use a tapered blending brush to apply electric-turquoise eye shadow from the liner to the crease, blending thoroughly into the crease. Use the point of a small tapered brush to bring the turquoise shadow to the end
    of the liner wing.

  3. 3

Apply turquoise blue pencil liner so it’s on top of the black liner. You don’t need to be super- precise with this line because it will blend in with the shadow.

  4. 4

Use the pencil to line under the lower lash line. Extend the line all the way to the point of the black liner wing.

  5. 5

With a small flat rounded brush, apply iridescent ocean-blue eye shadow to the lower lash line.

  6. 6

    Apply mascara.

  7. 7

Using your fingers, apply gold-toned highlighter to the cheekbones and blend well.
