Description

I thought I would share some of my storage ideas.

Instructions

  1. Small dscn1547 1262902304

Using a fishing tackle box to store your makeup! Go out in your dad/grandpa/brother's garage (your mom may have one even, cuz I do-I love fishing!) Just be sure to clean it out. This is a smaller green one-these type usually regular/big fishermen don't even use anymore.

  2. Small dscn1539 1262902395

To use this specific tackle box as a traveling kit, I would have to decrease the amount of makeup to essentials, and lay everything down; of course.

  3. Small dscn1616 1262902535

You can also use a fishing tackle box for your jewelry! This is a much larger box! There's so many little dividers-I love it!

Another place you can look for tackle boxes are pawn shops-they always carry manly stuff I've noticed-like tools. Thrift shops should have some as well. These three resources would be the cheapest, if no luck; go to a hardware (Menards, Macs, Town and Country, Runnings) or a sportman's store (like Sportmans Warehouse, Shields, Cabelas, Gander Mountain.) This larger one was my dads-he had no use since he "upgraded" his tackle years ago.

Another form of storage are these little plastic containers. I'm sure most of you all have or know of these. Some people use them for fishing tackle containers (my family does), or for tools (my boyfriend does), or for jewelry, makeup, art tools, polymer clay, etc. (like I do.) Here, I show the use for makeup. This also works very well for traveling-it fits really well inside a suitcase.

  6. These little fellas are everywhere too. Although I would think not so much at thrift shops. But definatly at crafter outlets, drugstores, and all the other stores mentioned before. A bit more on the expensive side, but worth the dependable storage, and division of items.

  7. Small dscn1549 1262903508

A few more various storage options... 1. Egg dying bowls (on the right) 2. Tin cans (of course) 3. Plastic Laffy Taffy bins/jars (on the left-probably could talk to a grocery store, or concession stand, or vending company to aquire these.)

  8. Small dscn1551 1262903587

A dvd stand that I found at a rummage sale! This one holds some of my jewelry, and some jewelry I may take apart or recon. But this way I can easily see what I'm dealing with.

  9. Small 008 1262903893

Old plastic school boxes! I use this one for my tools!

  10. Other ideas that I'm sure you all use already-but in case-coffee jars, nibisco chocolate milk mix jars, slim jim jars, shoe boxes, glass jars, baby food jars, chocolate boxes, tupperware, fruit tray. I hope this helped to any who need more oragnizing-If anyone has anymore ideas please share.
