All you have to do is cut two pieces of washi tape, each about an inch longer than your twist tie. Straighten the twist tie and stick it in the middle of one of the pieces of tape. Put the other piece of tape onto the exposed side of the twist tie, so it's covered on both sides. Trim the ends.
