You will need

Button(s) String Liquid craft Glue if you want to embellish your tree with buttons like I did Washi Tape Scissors Hole Punch Eyelet and setter if wanted White Card Stock

Description

Use the popular washi tape and make the simplest christmas trees. Make your trees ornaments, gift tags or hang them on a garland.

Instructions

1. 

   Start with a white piece of card stock and some washi tape. Place a piece of tape on your paper, downwards, thinking it`s the stem of the tree. My tape is about 12 cm long, but you can make the tree any size.

2. 

   Now we add branches to the tree. Start with a short piece of tape on the top.

3. 

   add more. Crooked is cool.

4. 

   Now we are getting somewhere.

5. 

   Voila,- a christmas tree with the nordic feel!

6. 

   To make the tree an ornament, or into a gift tag, cut around the tape.

7. 

   Punch a hole in the top of the tree.

8. 

   Add an eyelet if you want.

9. 

   I want to hang the tree in my window, so I tied a piece of string trough the hole.

10. 

    Using liquid glue, I decorated my tree with buttons. Use what you have though,- like gems and half pearls.

11. 

    Hang it! Make a garland, attach it to a card blank and make a card, embellish your christmas gifts or hang it in your window. Merry christmas :)
