    With main color, chain 7

Row 1: Hdc in 3rd chain room hook and remaining chains (5 hdc) Ch 2 turn
Row 2 - 7: Hdc in each stitch across, ch 2 turn
Row 8: Folding piece in half, crochet hdc through both the loops of row 7 stitches and the other side of your foundation chain. This will form a belt loop for wearing (5 hdc)
    Row 9 - 10: Repeat row 2
Row 11: 2 hdc in first stitch. Skip 1, sc in next stitch. Skip 1, 3 hdc in last stitch. Chain 1 turn.
Row 12: 1 sc in first stitch, skip next 2 stitches, 5 hdc in sc of previous row. Skip next 2 stitches, 1 sc in last stitch. Chain 2 turn.

Repeat rows 11 and 12 until wand holder is double the length of wand when folded so end of work rests just under the top loops of row 10. Fasten off

Using contrasting color, attach and crochet in sc around both sides and bottom to form the pouch. Fasten off.

    Weave in ends.

    Fold in half
